Ekta Kapoor Ropes In Juhi Chawla For Web Series Directed By Nagesh Kukunoor
Pleasant surprise! Juhi Chawla will do a cameo in Ekta Kapoor’s untitled web series which is directed by Kukunoor
Juhi Chawla who has previously worked with Nagesh Teen Deewarein (2003), is all set to make her debut in a web series by Ekta Kapoor.
Reportedly, Nimrat Kaur is also playing an important role. She recently posted on Instagram as well. Nimrat will be seen prepping to be the Indian Army’s first woman test case in a combat role.
Juhi Chawla has some fond memories of working with Nagesh. She never got a chance to work with him over the years but when he offered her the role, she jumped at the offer and said yes!
Talking about her shooting experience, she felt it was like a breeze. The cameo role that she shot for was very interesting and well-written. She got excited because of a lovely twist at the end. It is a dialogue-driven scene for which she took Nagesh’s advice and did what he asked her to do.
Juhi is also kicked about the entire digital space as she feels that there are no boundaries when it comes to being on a digital platform, as it could be watched anywhere around the world.
The series will be streaming on ALTBalaji. Launching soon this year, ALT Balaji marks Ekta Kapoor's foray into the digital domain with her app, which will showcase exclusive, original, and never-seen before content.
